Every day we are confronted with choices. Many choices create joy, but many choices also create pain. Jonah’s message is about choice and making choices of joy last. Jonah goes into how we negate our joyful choices, thus creating pain and suffering. How many fear having too much joy, perhaps a fear based on losing that joy? What does it mean to make a choice forever? Can that choice change as we change?
